La Zampa was founded in France in 1999 after the creation of Boromée 21, a collaboration with a classical music orchestra, which was sponsored by the Hivernales of Avignon. Since its inception, La Zampa have created works such as Le Ciel Au-Dessus De Sa Tête (2002), Si Tu Veux, Je Tue Le Chat (2003), as well as the performance Temps 0 at the Center of Contemporary Art of Albi (2004). In addition, La Zampa have directed several performances with Red Sniper (Patrick Codenys / Front242, Kendell Geers) and in 2007, they created the solo SAND at the request of the theater La Guillotine (Montreuil). In 2008, they acted in CRASH / VARIATION 1 of Bruno Geslin and most recently, they created Daisy Cutter for the Nîmes Theater in 2009.
